The 2026 John Whitmer Historical Association Annual Conference: “Crossroads of Identity, Community, and Technology” will take place from September 24-26 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA. The conference will host several panels, lectures, and even a film screening on subjects ranging from Mormon memory and history to the ethical use of AI in historical research. Both scholars of Restoration history and studies, as well as students are encouraged to attend.
