Mentorship

7.  It was suggested by Leonard Arrington that some summer research fellowships be given to scholars to work here in the library using the materials, which we have with a grant of $1,000 each.  It is proposed that this announcement be made, applications considered submitted up to April 1, and then decide just who would qualify.  Full particulars whereby this plan might be carried forth were discussed in detail.  Results of this study will become the property of the Historian’s Office, to be used by the individual only if approved by the Church Historian.  Brother Olson suggested that this grant might be paid out of the salary budget.
