Prince’s Research Excerpts on “Gay Rights & Mormonism” Now Available as a Digital Resource
University of Virginia, Mormon Studies Program
Dr. Gregory Prince’s research excerpts on the topic of “Gay Rights and the Mormon Church” are now available as a digital resource on our Mormon Studies website. These excerpts were compiled and organized by Dr. Prince in preparation for his book, Gay Rights and the Mormon Church: Intended Actions, Unintended Consequences.
Prince’s research materials cover a wide range of topics, including the Equal Rights Amendment, Utah’s Anti-Gay Marriage Law, Mixed-Orientation Marriage, and more. We believe this resource will be particularly interesting and useful to Mormon Studies scholars, Religious Studies faculty and students, as well as anyone with an interest in Mormonism and LGBTQ+ topics.
This resource is part of a larger series of Prince Collection digital resources, which also includes the David O. McKay and Leonard Arrington diaries. Dr. Prince’s research materials are also available in hard copy as part of our Mormon Studies Collection at the UVA Library.
