Adleia C. Clark was taken through the veil by William Goodall Young. The same evening (at 10:30 p.m.) Brigham Young married the young couple for time and eternity in the Celestial Room in the presence of a large wedding party. After the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed a dinner and festivities. This was the second wedding and marriage sealing performed in the Nauvoo temple before the dedication of the sealing altar on 7 Jan 1846, Brigham Young having married and sealed Truman Leonard and Orlensia White on the same day at 3:00 p.m. (See Anderson/Bergera-EC.)
